California privacy notice
Rights and disclosures for California residents under the CCPA and CPRA.
Effective: 01 January 2025
This notice is provided to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.). It supplements our Privacy Policy and describes the personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and your rights as a California resident.
Categories of personal information collected
In the preceding 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information (as defined by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140):
- Identifiers: name, work email address, company name, and IP address (collected when you contact us or subscribe via our website forms).
- Internet or other electronic network activity: pages visited, session duration, referral source, browser and device type - collected via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity only if you have provided consent. IP addresses are anonymised before retention.
- Inferences: limited inferences drawn from analytics data to understand aggregate usage patterns. No individual profiling for advertising purposes.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by § 1798.121 (such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, or biometric data).
Sources of personal information
- Directly from you: information you voluntarily submit via contact or subscribe forms.
- Automatically: server logs and analytics tools when you visit the website (analytics only with consent).
Business and commercial purposes
- Responding to enquiries and delivering requested information.
- Delivering services under client agreements.
- Analytics to understand how the website is used and improve it (consent-gated).
- Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell or share your personal information
Inboxd does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising within the meaning of Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.120. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
Disclosure to third parties
We disclose personal information only to the following categories of service providers for operational business purposes:
- Cloud infrastructure provider: Microsoft Azure - website hosting.
- Analytics providers: Google LLC (GA4) and Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) - analytics, consent-gated only.
These disclosures are limited to what is necessary to perform the services. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your California privacy rights
As a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to know (§ 1798.110): You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to delete (§ 1798.105): You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, security, legal obligations).
- Right to correct (§ 1798.106): You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to opt-out of sale/sharing (§ 1798.120): Not applicable - we do not sell or share personal information.
- Right to limit sensitive PI (§ 1798.121): Not applicable - we do not collect sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination (§ 1798.125): We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
How to exercise your rights
To submit a verifiable consumer request, email legal@inboxd.agency with “CCPA Request” in the subject line. Please include your name, email address, and a description of your request. We will respond within 45 days of receipt. If we require an extension of up to an additional 45 days, we will notify you of the reason and extension period. You may authorise an agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require written verification from you.
Shine the Light
Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may request information about personal information shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. We do not share personal information with third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our data practices change or as required by law. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
